The Dead Sea is one of the world’s largest deposits of salt. ICL Specialty Minerals operates a modern state-of-the-art salt refinery at the Dead Sea Works (DSW) complex that produces a wide range of grades of highest quality natural sea salt. The refinery operates in a closed circuit production environment, and the salt is packaged using fully automated equipment to avoid contamination of any kind. Salt is one of the most widely used minerals and is most familiar to all as an essential ingredient in almost all cooking both in the family kitchen and in the food industry.
