ICL-Specialty Minerals (ICL-SM) is one of the business units of ICL, specializes in the production and marketing of compounds based on 4 components: magnesium, potassium chloride,  sodium chloride and calcium carbonate.

All ICL-SM products containing magnesium, sodium and potassium are derived from the unique mineral-rich brines of the Dead Sea in Israel, which are characterized by the lowest levels of harmful or toxic elements compared to any other sea, ocean or brine source. ICL-SM calcium products are produced in France employing unique proprietary procedures. Each ICL-SM product reflects specific know-how related to its production process and intended applications.

The combination of superior raw material sources and specifically developed technology ensures that all products of ICL-SM not only meet or exceed the highest international regulatory standards, but represent materials of the highest purity available anywhere in the world.
