Magnesium Oxide – Active Grades

Active magnesium oxide is used in the formulation of polychloroprene and other halogen-containing rubber polymers rubber for the prevention of early scorch. Active magnesium oxide also serves as an active component in stabilizing polychloroprene adhesives. Different grades of polymer require different reactivity’s and surface areas.

• High purity in regard to elements likely to generate unwanted polymer reactions
