General & Use:
HALOGENE® is a broad spectrum Biocide for control of algal, bacterial and fungal slimes in industrial water systems, effective over a wide pH range (6-10).

Flammability and Explosivity:
HALOGENE® is non-flammable. It is chemically stable at up to 160°C. At this temperature it will start to decompose, releasing toxic fumes.

Toxicity:
HALOGENE® is toxic if inhaled and is a severe irritant to the skin, eyes and mucous membranes.
Prolonged skin contact may cause sensitization. Burns may be severe if skin is wet or damp.

Packaging:
Granulated material is supplied in 5 kg / 11 lb,18 kg / 40 lb., 22.5 kg /50 lb. plastic

pails and in 500 kg / 1100 lb. big bags.

Solubility:
HALOGENE® is soluble in many organic solvents. In water: 0.2 g / 100 ml at 25°C. Its dissolution rate is dependent on temperature.

Incompatibility:
Paints. petroleum and other combustible organic materials, organic and inorganic oxidizers.

Corrosivity:
In normal use concentrations, HALOGENE® solutions are not corrosive.
