General & Use:
HALOBROM® is a fast acting broad spectrum Biocide for control of algae, bacteria and fungi in swimming pools and spas. It is effective over a wide pH range (6-10). Available as tablets weighing approx. 20 gr each and with a diameter of about 3.0 cm.

Toxicity
HALOBROM® is irritant to the skin, eyes and mucous membranes and is a mild skin sensitizer. Prolonged skin contact may cause reddening and superficial necrosis. Burns may be severe if skin is wet or damp.
HALOBROM® is very toxic to aquatic organisms.

Flammability and Explosivity
HALOBROM® in non-flammable. It is chemically stable at up to 160˚C. At this temperature it will start to decompose, releasing toxic fumes.

Corrosivity
In normal use concentrations, HALOBROM® solutions are not corrosive. At high concentrations however, HALOBROM® is corrosive to most metals.
